Steam Game Files Location

I recently had to have my computer reset to factory settings in order to reinstall Windows. Luckily, about two days before it crashed I managed to perform a successful back-up using Windows Backup and Restore Centre. After restoring the old data, I have found the files for Dawn of War II (a disc-based game) but I cannot find the save files for Stacking or Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (two games I downloaded off Steam).

Do you have any idea where I might find them so I can transfer them back onto my main hard disk and carry on playing where I left off?

Now here’s the magic part: before Steam begins the “download” process, it will double-check the location that it’s assigned to install the game files. Steam examines the game folder, “discovers” the files are already there, and skips the actual download for any files it doesn’t need to retrieve from the server. When I installed steam it automatically moved all the save games and what not to the new ssd documents folder. It took about 40 gigs of my 120 gb. My steam is not even installed on the same drive as windows Is there any ways to move all the files from the documents to other drive and tell steam to put all the save games there. You can choose a safe location to save found Steam game files and then move the found files back to the original Steam Game file location. Let Steam detect and recognize restored game files. After you find lost Steam Game files, you can then reopen the Steam Game platform the use it read, detect and recognize the Steam Game files again.

Thanks.
