Using the Website (www.pelco.com): Click HERE to access the Digital Sentry page with the download already sorted for Software, scroll down and look for DS ControlPoint Software v.zip file which is most recent version (e.g. DS ControlPointSoftware v7.12.zip). Once located, click the Download link to begin the downloading the software. DS ControlPoint is a powerful graphical user interface that allows users to monitor any combination of analog and IP devices through a single interface. It's not recommended to run DS ControlPoint software as a regular monitoring utility on a server or combination component. Reserve a dedicated client computer for this purpose. Do not activate any system lock or screensaver features while running DS ControlPoint software. These features can interfere with certain Digital Sentry processes.

Description

Pelco Mobile™ provides remote access to live and recorded video from Pelco by Schneider Electric VideoXpert Systems, Digital Sentry systems, Endura networks equipped with SM5200 System Managers, and Sarix cameras. Monitor the people and property you are protecting from anywhere over a Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G connection. Simultaneously connect to up to 150 Pelco VMS systems to access video across VMS environments.

Requirements:
• VideoXpert version 1.9 or later
• Digital Sentry – requires version 7.13 or later. Digital Sentry versions earlier than 7.8 require the DS Web Service, available on Pelco.com.
• Endura – requires v1.0 or later SM5200 System Manager; PTZ and Recorded video require v1.4 or later
• Pelco Aggregation - requires v1.0 or above Pelco Aggregation server
• Pelco IP camera direct connection – requires Sarix firmware version 1.7.x or above
• Network access to the desired cameras and systems is required to view video feeds via Wi-Fi or 3G/4G connection

Not impressed

Haven't even added my system to the app yet. I'm just trying to view the demo systems and the app is constantly locking up, sometimes to the point where even pressing the home button won't exit out of the app. I have to wait for the app to time out and crash before I can get back to using my phone. Also, app won’t even get past splash screen when Pelco servers are down. It eventually times out and then the app just closes. The app should not be dependent on Pelco servers to be up in order to be used.

Thanks for your comment! Could you please try the new version 3.2.3 and see if that solves the problem?

Broken Update [updated]

[version 3.2.3] this update is broken. The app will freeze trying to connect to the demo systems. I found that if I go into airplane mode, I am able to launch the application and add my systems. After taking out of airplane mode, the cameras do work until the next time that I close the application.
Even if I remove the demo systems, the application will always re-add them on launch and will crash the application. The only way to effectively get into the app is to be in airplane mode first.

Pelco app

App has not worked for a week. Customer service said it was ready to launch with bug fixes .... but that obviously hasn’t happened. Hopefully things get up and running soon — when you start to use an interface for your business and it is taken away — it makes you question if you picked the right company system.
